In ELSA School, you can manage student access by inactivating, completely removing, or reactivating their accounts.
Understanding the Differences:
Inactivating a user: The student will no longer be able to log in to the Student App, but their record remains in your dashboard.
Removing from the organization: The student will be permanently removed from the Admin Dashboard entirely.
1. How to Inactivate a Student
Navigate to the Students tab on the left-hand menu.
Select the student(s) you wish to deactivate by checking the box to the left of their name.
Click the Make Inactive button located at the top right of the student list.
A pop-up will appear; click the Mark as Inactive button to confirm.
2. How to Remove a Student from the Organization
Navigate to the Students tab and click on the Inactive sub-tab at the top.
Select the inactive student(s) by checking the box to the left of their name.
Click the Remove from Organization button at the top right.
A warning message will appear; click Remove to permanently delete them from the dashboard.
3. How to Reactivate a Student
Navigate to the Students tab and click on the Inactive sub-tab.
Locate the student you want to restore and click the three-dot menu (⋮) on the far right of their name.
Select Reactivate from the dropdown menu.
In the "Reactivate Student" window, select a class for them from the dropdown list.
Click Invite to restore their access to the Student App.
